The García Moreno prison gave him thirty-five children. Counting only on their missionary salary, but with a vigorous faith in our God, they began the difficult task of raising, educating and caring for the kids; they basically became their parents.  56 years later, over 4,000 children have been cared for by what started as an act of faith.  Initially known as "Casas Felices," (Houses of Happiness), we are now known as the Henry Davis Foundation.

Over the years, God has wonderfully protected and provided this institution with the human, material and spiritual resources needed to provide not just care, but abundant care to the children entrusted to us.
