Our Purpose

Located in Quito, Ecuador, the Henry Davis Foundation is a privately managed institution that has been providing loving and abundant care to Ecuador's most needy children for over 50 years.  We have helped over 4,000 children and adolescents that have been found in situations of abandonment, abuse, or extreme poverty. 

Our immediate goal is to provide basic care such as food, shelter, and education; our ultimate goal is to transform the child through building a foundation built on the love and knowledge of Jesus Christ so he or she can become a productive member of society.  We pray that the children we have in our hands today will be the future spiritual leaders our country so desperately needs.

Henry Davis Foundation complies with current regulations and within the framework of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

We provide care, comprehensive protection and restitution of rights to abandoned and at-risk girls, boys and adolescents who have administrative or judicial protection measures of institutional care.

The institutional care model focuses on working with boys, girls and young people who, due to various situations, are currently deprived of their family environment or are at imminent risk of being so.  We provide them with all the basic care necessary for their integral growth as well as daily instruction based on Christian values and principles.

Our little ones receive care in all areas: housing, food, health, education, clothing, comprehensive professional care and spiritual formation.

The objective is to reinsert them into society as good people who contribute to the creation of a better world.
